Credit Utilization
Credit utilization is the percentage of your available revolving credit that you're currently using — and it's one of the more heavily weighted factors in most credit scoring models.
Why It Matters for Credit Scores
Generally, keeping utilization well under 30% (and ideally under 10%) is associated with healthier credit scores. This applies per-card and across all your revolving accounts combined.
